Aasif Mujtaba is an alumnus of Aligarh Muslim University and IIT Delhi, where he built a distinguished academic record marked by technical excellence, leadership, and a deep commitment to public service.
He is the Founder & CEO of the Miles2Smile Foundation, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the relief, rehabilitation, and long-term empowerment of survivors of communal violence, mob lynching, forced demolitions, and humanitarian disasters.
Under his leadership, Miles2Smile has emerged as one of India's leading grassroots humanitarian organizations, combining emergency relief with sustainable rehabilitation, education, livelihood generation, and community resilience.

In Trishuli, Nepal, we met Nadeem bhai carrying this unimaginable grief. The flood swept away his family, his shops and the only source of livelihood he had. There are no words that can truly ease such a loss. But in this hour of profound pain and helplessness, Miles2Smile stands beside Nadeem bhai—not just with relief, but with solidarity, compassion and hope. Because sometimes, standing beside someone in their darkest hour is the least we can do.
